Nordic Walking

A New, Fashionable Sport Conquers the Alps

Alpe di Siusi
Recreational sportsmen and people who care about their health have discovered a great new way to stay in shape and experience nature at the same time: Nordic Walking. Nordic Walking originated in Finland and is the fashionable new sport where you use two ultra-light poles – and not much else – to walk easier and faster.
The great thing about Nordic Walking is that anyone can try it. For sportsmen, it’s a good form of exercise, and for people who don't have as much opportunity to do something for their fitness, it's an efficient way to get the maximum effect. So let's go!

Walking Like the Finns

Nordic walking on the Alpe di Siusi
It's the gentle way to better fitness with the ski and snowboard schools of the Alpe di Siusi.
You can choose from private instruction or fun-filled group classes, for beginners and advanced students. Nordic Walkers have weekly meets, and if that isn't enough for you, you can sign up for the preparatory class to become a Basic Instructor in Nordic Walking.
