Tour to Migg's cave

Hikes for families on the Alpe di Siusi
Not only children will find the Migg Cave an interesting place to visit. Today, visitors to the hermit's cave can still easily imagine what it must have been like to live here on the banks of the Sciliar Brook – far from civilization, in the middle of breathtaking natural scenery. The "Goat's Church" (or "Migg's Cave") is located on the forest road, which leads from the Moarmüller-Hof (between Fiè di Sopra and Umes) towards Weisslahn and Hofer Alpl, where the street turns to the left into the Sciliar Brook, and can be reached from there via a narrow pathway in about two minutes by foot. A short stop at "Migg's Cave" can be easily included in a hike to the Sciliar Massive, to the Hofer-Alpl, or to the "Tuff" Meadow.
